View at estebanbustos.comRaíces del Desierto is a digital art collection that reinterprets the myths and legends of northern Chile: the driest desert in the world, the mountains and the worldview of its ancestral cultures.
The collection translates research into Andean and northern tales into portraits and landscapes with a magical atmosphere: figures emerging from the sand, breathing hills and skies that tell stories. The color of the desert (copper, ochre, violet) guides the whole palette.
Raíces del Desierto was developed as a project selected by Fondart Nacional and was exhibited at the CityLab Hall of Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral (GAM) in Santiago. The collection is complete and available as limited editions.
